Yeah, I know... weird post, really, but I can't be selfish and not tell y'all about this. Target has boxes of Kotex U tampons on the endcap for just $2/box! I really love the packaging. I totally love my new Radiant collection stuff, but these are equally awesome in the tampon dept. I just bought 5 boxes & wish I could have bought all of them... freaking budget. rawr! um, anyways, get on down to your local Target and scoop some of these up for yourself. You can't beat this price. I'm telling you about this, also, in case you have a coupon!! I just walked up on them while I was buying what I needed. Oh, and there's some ALL laundry pods/pacs there, too.

New Find: Always & Tampax Radiant Collection

There are times when generic brands are a smart choice and there are times when you actually save money by purchasing the "real deal." I recently tried to switch to generic brand(s) of feminine products and it has been a total disaster. I am so happy I discovered the new Radiant Collection from Tampax® and Always® through Influenster! My Review: Tampax Radiant tampons

The Tampax Radiant tampons are really incredible, because they are created with usability in mind. Each tampon comes in it's own individual resealable wrapper, which can be used for clean & discreet disposal of the applicator. The tampon is a beautiful shade of purple, which I actually enjoy, because I'm tired of the sterile appearance of the tampons I was using, before. I appreciate the beautiful detailing around the base of the applicator--this is not only attractive, it is also functional. The floral pattern provides easier gripping, so that the tampon applicator doesn't slide around when you are applying your tampon. The smooth plastic applicator makes insertion a breeze! 

Tampax Radiant tampons are built to make your period invisible, and I truly believe they fulfill the promise. I had absolutely no trouble with the application, wear, or removal process. I didn't find it uncomfortable nor did it leak. If you find that your tampon is uncomfortable to remove/apply, you may be buying the wrong size for your needs. Go with the flow ;-) Try another size and see if that helps you.

What makes a good tampon?

• It must be easily portable
• It must not leak
• It must not feel annoying
• It must be easy to remove
• It must not cause you to get angry and throw away tons of unused tampons, because it won't come out of the stupid little applicator!! ...um, just sayin'...

This tampon completely passed my checklist! I bought a full-size box of the Tampax Radiant tampons, which came with some really great coupons :)
