New Find: Always & Tampax Radiant Collection

There are times when generic brands are a smart choice and there are times when you actually save money by purchasing the "real deal." I recently tried to switch to generic brand(s) of feminine products and it has been a total disaster. I am so happy I discovered the new Radiant Collection from Tampax® and Always® through Influenster! I will tell you more about them and why I love them.

My Review: Tampax Radiant tampons

The Tampax Radiant tampons are really incredible, because they are created with usability in mind. Each tampon comes in it's own individual resealable wrapper, which can be used for clean & discreet disposal of the applicator. The tampon is a beautiful shade of purple, which I actually enjoy, because I'm tired of the sterile appearance of the tampons I was using, before. I appreciate the beautiful detailing around the base of the applicator--this is not only attractive, it is also functional. The floral pattern provides easier gripping, so that the tampon applicator doesn't slide around when you are applying your tampon. The smooth plastic applicator makes insertion a breeze! 

Tampax Radiant tampons are built to make your period invisible, and I truly believe they fulfill the promise. I had absolutely no trouble with the application, wear, or removal process. I didn't find it uncomfortable nor did it leak. If you find that your tampon is uncomfortable to remove/apply, you may be buying the wrong size for your needs. Go with the flow ;-) Try another size and see if that helps you.

What makes a good tampon?

• It must be easily portable
• It must not leak
• It must not feel annoying
• It must be easy to remove
• It must not cause you to get angry and throw away tons of unused tampons, because it won't come out of the stupid little applicator!! ...um, just sayin'...

This tampon completely passed my checklist! I bought a full-size box of the Tampax Radiant tampons, which came with some really great coupons :)

Check out this secret door!!

I love the little resealable package! It makes these tampons so discreet & saves money on bath tissue (no more rolling them up in toilet paper, before throwing them in the trash.) This little door really does work, too. I was skeptical, but I'm totally a believer, now. You just open the pack, insert the tampon, and replace the applicator into the package. It not only looks nicer in the trashcan, it's cleaner for your hands. I give them an A++ for innovation on this one. Tampon package secret door is a must!

My Review: Always Radiant Incredibly Thin Liners & Always Radiant Infinity pads

I love pads & liners that are: comfortable, thin, absorbent and affordable. It's extra-awesome when they're also attractive & innovative.

This sweet photo reminds me of a baby. I wanted you to see the softness & quality.

There's no meshy layer over the top of these. They absorb quickly. I was glad to sample these, but I prefer the unscented Always Infinity pad, because it's thinner & unscented. I have sensitive skin, so I usually don't wear scented pads. I do like the design of this pad, though, because it's very absorbent and works well for extended wear (I tested it overnight).

Wow! Let's start with how amazingly thin this liner is! I was so impressed with how thin it is, that I took photos of it being almost see-through. Seen here:

You can literally read through it, yet, it still works perfectly.

You can actually read through the adhesive part of the liner... color me amazed. The pattern is very nice, also. I like that it's not boring to look at, its incredibly functional and it wraps around to fit any panties that you own.

It's very versatile.

I love that these Always Incredibly Thin Liners can be worn more than one way. You can wear them the traditional flat way or you can wrap it around your panties to make an invisible fit--no more duck tails on your sexy panties! (lol, that's what I call it)

This seriously-incredibly-thin liner just disappears onto your undergarment and does its job without bothering you--it's hired; bought it!
