it's time for Ipsy August Glam Bag Sneak Peeks!

I'm totally happy with my bag! All kinds of goodness going on this month, too. Chella is a brand that I've grown to love through Ipsy. I'm happy that I got the BB cream, because I'm really wanting to try something new. I'm wearing a sample of UD's Naked Skin makeup right now and it's really pretty. I should do a review on this. It's wearing all day through the 94 degree, humid, sweat-fest that I've been through today.

AUGUST GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #5:
Get ready to learn about what Glamour is all about this August.
Annnnd here's the bag! Looks like "Ipsy Glamour Academy" is the theme for August. I think this bag is pretty fun~feminine without being too girly; has kind of a fantasy edge to it {you're a wizard, girl!}. I wonder if the glasses will be included, because this is the second time they've appeared in a photo--maybe? maybe not?

AUGUST GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #4:
Class is in session with TWO of these amazing items in your August Glam Bag!
These are either/or items--you get two of them. I'm on my way out the door and will comment more later, but I believe I'm seeing:
- (possibly) NYX cream blush (the red circle),
- cheek stain/blush (the red stick in the middle)
- and some Nailtini polish (the red polish--could be the Straight Up Color collection/line).
- There's maybe an eyeliner laying on the side over there.
- The loose powder could be eye shadow or bronzer.
- The white/black tube could be eye primer or foundation primer, maybe Smashbox?
- I'm hoping the tube on the left is a foundation/bb cream/tinted moisturizer.
AUGUST SNEAK PEEK #3:

Pixi Lash Booster Mascara. ($17) It comes in Blackest Black or Blackest Blue--not sure which shade will be included in the Glam Bag, but I'd guess the black would be more likely to be in there. I own several items by Pixi (mostly from HauteLook); you can purchase it at Target or online. It's often on Hautelook, so keep an eye out over there for flash sales and low prices on Pixi products. You can check out the colors and maybe use the "try me" products at Target, which is really helpful for picking out colors.

Either/Or: Michael Todd True Organics face scrub or pumpkin mask . I got an email about my Little Black Bag today and noticed Michael Todd True Organics is being featured on LBB, as well. This is likely the same size tube as on LBB-- the travel-size tubes {which beats a foil packet, anyday}. Both products sound great--I think I'd love the Jojoba charcoal scrub the most :) As you know, I always welcome natural/organic stuff, so this is another winner to me!

- One of the products that may be included in your August Glam Bag is an Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick! I hear this lipstick is badass ;D The UD Revolution Lipstick retails for $22 for a full-size tube (I don't know if the one in the Glam Bag is full-size or smaller).
- As Zadidoll points out, the lipstick in the photo is smaller than the lip balm, so that means its very likely a deluxe sample.

My Comments~ Personally, I'm excited either way. I love UD as much as the next girl, but I really like natural products (a lot) so, this is a good chance for me to try a brand (noya) that I've never heard of before. Also, this natural lip balm is naturally FLAVORED, too! That's perfect for summer and any day of the week. Check out the fun flavors up there. Sweet kisses, I say. Or something amusing to entertain you when you're bored... school's about to start back, ya know.
The UD lipstick is going to be badass (they promised, right?) and the packaging is really pretty! UD products have incredible wear and we all know that it's valuable (premium) makeup. You can't lose with this either/or in my opinion.

The one coming in the bag is most likely to be a deluxe size (0.4 oz). If you look at the Sneak Peek 1 photo it appears to be smaller than the lip balm which would put it at a deluxe size sample.

DeleteIt really does look like the NYX illuminator (like, really really)! I'm seeing a lot of Pacifica BB cream on Instagram and I wonder if that's what it is? There's so many variations in the new personalized bags that you really don't know what all everyone got until the end of the month :P
ReplyDeleteHi! Pretty sure the golden tube is NYX's illuminator! I just bought one and it looks exactly like this! I'd be so sad though if I got this again! If it is the illuminator its a full size!
