SEPTEMBER GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #1
What I'm thinking:
- The top fushia color is a nail polish. I think it's pretty much a consensus that this polish is Tightrope from Andrea's Choice. Kinda glad that this is the last one, because I'm ready to try out some more brands. I'm pretty sure we're all getting the same color this month. :)
- The second one is a lip gloss. If it's like previous bags, the lipgloss will come in more than one color. This is great for newbies, but for current subbies, I think that it's time to switch up and stop putting a lip product in every single bag ;) Just a suggestion.
- It's nice to get a full-size (larger size) product, though!
- The last color is an eye shadow. The amount of fallout around the brown color makes me feel like it could possibly be something other than an eye shadow, though... maybe, an eyeliner, brow liner or a rollerball eye shadow color (loose pigment).
- It's definitely an eye shadow single. See photo #3.
- I really love the black bag! I'll let it be my little makeup bag that I keep inside of my pocketbook/handbag.

Lip gloss, anyone?
I really like the color in this photo, but I'm hoping the color I receive is sheer & neutral, so that it will work with my complexion :) But, if that's it in the swatch up there, its definitely a bold color. When a color is too dark/bright/bold for me, I either give it away or mix it with another color to lighten it. I will say, though, that since the season is changing, I'd expect more of an earth-tone color or even a tinted lip balm for Fall. This must be a "goodbye to summer" bag.

SNEAK PEEK #3: Fall in love with a shadow that's always in fashion
My favorite item, so far! I can't wait to test this out :) I wonder what the texture is like... is it baked? is it drier, like a bronzer? is it smooth? I feel like we're all getting the same color of this eye shadow, which is kinda nice. It's a neutral color that can probably be used as a shadow/contour color and/or a bronzer.
I wonder if this is the beginning of another series of single products that will appear in each month's bag or if it's just a one-time product for this particular bag. Maybe, they're going to send out eye shadows each month & give us an eye shadow case? Just a thought--I do NOT know that's true--I'm just thinking out loud on my blog ;)
SNEAK PEEK #4: Say "So long" to split ends in style.
People think that it's NEW!MONOI SPLIT END TREATMENT TRIO by Carol's Daughter. I've seen this brand mentioned a lot, but I've never tried it. Of course, this is just a guess, but the writing on the label is identical to a Carol's Daughter label.
One more hint left, unless the 5th product is a surprise :)
SNEAK PEEK #5: State-of-the-art materials to create sultry smudges
Yeah, I'm pretty certain that this is a SoHo Silk smudge brush :)
They even show the "Lon/ S" in the photo (London SOHO).

This is a great accompaniment to the eye shadow.

I'm definitely thinking eyeshadow. Brown would be nice. I reeeeeeeally hope that black wristlet looking bag is this month's bag! I'm tired of bright lipglosses. Lip stuff in general :/
ReplyDeleteGot my fingers crossed, because I'd love a brown eyeshadow! Brown is neutral and everyone can enjoy it. I'm totally digging the black wristlet, too! I'm scared to say that I have enough lip glosses, so, I'm just hoping that I like this one. I don't get why they're sending neon colors for fall, though. Just curious.
Deletei am stoked that this bag has 5 items in it. the bag is adorable. my guess is the violet is the last andrea's choice circus polish, the lip gloss is adorable. the brown could be a shadow or nyx eye pigment (kinda hoped it was a bronzer) & the hair is a big 0_0
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the black bag, too, & I have high hopes for the brown eyeshadow. Sometimes, you can use an eye color as a bronzer, so maybe this one will be flexible like that :) I totally agree with you on the Andrea's Choice, because it's right on the money for Tightrope. I was *wishful thinking* that it'd be a new velvet polish, because I'm really wanting to try those! The hair product is a mystery--hoping for a cool hair tie or a great-scented shampoo :)
