To celebrate National Children's Dental Health Month, I'm reviewing {and giving away 3 bottles of} an all-natural, USA-made oral hygiene product called OraMd. I was contacted to receive a free sample in exchange for my honest review of the product.
All-Natural Oral Hygiene Routine
If you want to trade your at-home oral hygiene routine for one that doesn't contain chemicals, all you have to do is... try OraMd. OraMd can be used on your toothbrush (like toothpaste), as a mouthwash (add a few drops to mouth-rising-water) or as a breath freshener (add a drop to your tongue and move it around your mouth). My experience. I've been using OraMD for a few weeks, now. I wanted to really try it out before I formed an opinion about it. The very first time I used it, I immediately noticed how intensely-minty it is--much like a very strong breath mint or a mouth-rinse. There's a slight burn if you use the full 4 drops on your toothbrush. The burn is actually the feeling of bacteria being eliminated from the mouth, so that's a good thing. You can start off with 1-2 drops and work your way up.
I've never used a liquid "toothpaste" before, so I was curious as to how it would work on my toothbrush. I purchased a toothbrush that has "whitening cups" on it (the little rubber circles in the bristles), because it claims to hold your toothpaste better, so I knew it would work well for OraMd's liquid formula. The all-natural, mint flavor is intense, but it leaves my teeth feeling squeaky clean and my breath is undeniably fresh. There's only three ingredients in this product: almond, spearmint and peppermint oils. Those oils are known for having antibacterial properties.
For children. Since OraMD is a natural product, I feel content creating a mouthwash for my little boy to use after he brushes his teeth. It's important to rinse--no matter how minty you make your mouthwash--the act of rinsing helps loosen "debris" from your teeth. Oh, and don't forget to floss! "yes, mom." The mouthwash is refreshing and creates minty little kisses from my baby love-bug.

ReplyDeleteDustyn likes his Light Saber tooth brush.
ReplyDeleteOh man, yeah! Same here and Ninja Turtles! :)
ReplyDeleteToo cool! I bet my dad would like one of those, too, lol... but really :) Grown-up toothbrushes should come with cool characters, too, right? I'd love to have an Ariel or Cinderella one--with the mice on it!! Gus Gus ♥
ReplyDeletehaaaha yes, girl, yes! It's totally because the toothbrushes come in multi-packs and they all get used because, hey, gotta have variety, right? I so wish I had a cool toothbrush like the kids have *pout*. Crazy, too, because Noah does that! He quit using his "Fruity McFruity Fun" (made that up) toothpaste and started using mine. Kids like mint, too, it seems :)
ReplyDeleteI love tortillas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chihuahuas.. you name it - I will eat it! Well, maybe not the chihuahua but they are cute enough to consume :) I just left the store a little while ago and bought everything I need to make tacos and loaded nachos this week. Your creations came out delicious looking!
ReplyDeleteawesome! I love mixing hot cocoa with coffee and then drinking it iced or hot :) There's so many ways to mix it up! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteToodie has so many toothbrushes that I have had to start weeding them out and tossing out the older ones! The other day I bought her a new kid's toothpastes that she requested, one being bubble gum. But the next morning when she went into the bathroom to brush her teeth I caught her using my Crest Whitening one! She must want pearly whites like mommy is going for!

Thank you for your kind & insightful comment! :) This really does freshen breath very well--way better than typical toothpaste (or any that I've ever used). It even makes the bathroom smell fresh and minty after I brush my teeth with OraMd. I'm truly a fan of it. Thank you so much for noticing~I tried to capture it from all the right angles. Good luck in the giveaway!
