Ipsy February 2014 Glam Bag Hints

The February 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag hints have started and it looks like there will be a Valentine's/Love theme this month. I can't wait to see the bag this month--I bet it's beautiful. There will be 5 products in the Glam Bag this month.

The "look of love" theme

Ipsy is a $10/month beauty subscription that includes a different cosmetics bag each month.
You will complete a beauty quiz and your bags will be customized to your preferences and skin tone.
All Glam Bags are not the same; there will be different products inside of each person's bag.

FEBRUARY GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #4:

You'll be getting one product from this bouquet of beauty picks (fit for the Queen of Hearts)!

BB Cream, face wash, lotion, oh my! I really would love to have a bag filled with all of these things! But, that Zoya, though... not giving that up.

Oh, so, yeah, each person will get one item from the items listed in this photo. I recognize a lot of these like the First Aid Beauty "fab" brand and Pacifica. What's cool, is that even if you already know a brand, it's very unlikely that you've tried all of their products, so I love it when much-loved brands are included in the photos/bags along with brands that are unfamiliar to me.

Possibilities

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay. I need this because I'm totally out of face wash... how'd that happen? I love this brand. I have several products from First Aid Beauty that I bought from Sephora. This is free of parabens.

Pacifica's Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter Tube. 100% vegan and cruelty-free! Great brand and it's readily available at Target. I like their prices and I use a different scent of this lotion on my hands at night and it works magic on chapped skin (thank you Winter).

Uberliss straight effect. This brand is totally new to me, but straight hair is not. I straighten my hair basically every day. Looks like a fun product and there's a big write up on the brand/products at the link above. No formaldehyde in their products! Thank you! Happy to know this.

IPKN Moist & Firm Beauty Balm SPF 45. This brand is new to me and I don't see much about them on their site. You can visit and read more about them and their products, if you want to. Here's their description of this BB cream "All in one! (Moisturizes, Illuminates, UV protection, Wrinkle care, Brightening, Firming, & Elasticity)."

Skyn Iceland Fresh Start Mask. description "This 10-minute weekly treatment polishes and re-texturizes skin to reveal a luminous, youthful translucence for a fresh start."

Dr. Lin Skincare Acne Spot Corrector. This acne cream is free of parabens.

A lot of people seem to think the black tube is NuMe. I'm not so sure.

I'm working on the red one.

Well, there ya have it, Hint 4. There's *nail polish, *lip gloss, a *makeup product, either/or *skincare or hair care products. The bag is heavy on makeup and color products this month, so that should cheer up the people who didn't dig the skincare bag last month.

See you guys tomorrow!

FEBRUARY GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #3:

Sugar and spice. Everything nice. One of these sweet picks will be yours this February!

Ah, Wednesday, the day I get home later. This is an either/or item where we will be getting one of the items in the photo, not all of them. I already can tell you that I'd love to have the eye shadow or the liner, because those are my go-to items when I buy makeup. Nope, can't have enough eye makeup, apparently :)

What's in this photo, maybe?
Jesse's Girl 9 Pan eye shadow palette ( I recognize the name from the other Glam Bag)
City Color Be Matte Blush. Blush, the hardest thing for me to pick out. You too?
J. Cat Beauty eyelashes. I really like this brand of products, so far.
Looks like eyeshadow in a tube. Its tricky to guess the brand on something so commonly shaped. I see fb calling this as Bare Escentuals High Shine eyecolor (seen here). I love that brand, too.

What are you hoping for out of all of these products? If you're into falsies, you can always use more of those. I still haven't used the ones that I got in the other Glam Bag, but I'm planning to try it out soon. I'll hit up YouTube for some tips and tricks. Who doesn't love YouTube beauty videos? ;)

Happy Hump Day!

FEBRUARY GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #2:

Hold your heart in your hands? Why not, with one of these awesome nail shades?!

ahhh it's Zoya!! I'm such a Zoya fangirl! Zoya is a 3-free polish and the formula is always nice and it's affordable. I like the massive rainbow of colors that Zoya offers as well. Oh, and let's not forget the sales and the deals! One color is a delicate, light, cream pink. The other is a gorgeous shade of purple that's unlike any that I already own. You really can't go wrong with these sweet Valentine's colors. Value $9.00+.

The Guessing Game.
(updated)

Zoya Nail Polish in Odette (maybe? Looks about right.)

Zoya Dot, if it's from the Spring 2014 collection
(this is looking pretty promising and just pretty beautiful)

Wow, both of the new Zoya collections for the beginning of 2014 are amazing. The Spring 2014 Awaken collection has a ton of pretty, floral colors in a variety of finishes--including Monet (like the painter), a special effect topcoat. I'm in love with all of those colors. It's so nice to see flowery nail polish shades during the Winter. I'm ready for Spring~ how 'bout you?

FEBRUARY GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #1:

It's pout perfection with these pretty picks.

POPBeauty Plump Pout lip gloss!
This is a high-shine, long-wearing gloss that's valued at $16 for full size.
The heart ribbon is really pretty, isn't it.
Gotta say, I like the packaging. It's useful how this is flat and the wider top will be easy to turn.
The colors aren't too bold; I really like the one on the left (Peony Petal) and the brown one (Bare Nectar). Each of the glosses are named after something floral :)

See you back here tomorrow for Hint 2!

  2. The zoya looks more like odette *sp* if u ask me it's more purple and the color ur suggesting is more of a brown which doesn't match and wouldn't fit for valentines day.

  3. The pink polish looks closer to the color dot, which is a soft pink where as rue is more of tan

Someone as beautiful, smart and funny as you are must have something to say about this, right? ;) So, what do you think?
