{beauty review} Wantable Beauty Box!

Wantable is a monthly box service that offers a choice of either beauty, intimate or an accessories box. You can make a one-time purchase for $40 or subscribe for $36/month. I was contacted to review a beauty box and--after looking over the site--I knew that Wantable Boxes are something we'd all be interested in! The quality of the products, service and the website are all impressive.

Cost $36, value of my box $89.95

Wantable is really comparable to other beauty box services, but with a few very notable differences:

  1. You don't have to subscribe; you can make a one-time purchase.
  2. You fill out a survey of "love, like, dislike" to help curate your beauty box. You will not receive items from your "dislike" category. You may receive multiple items from your "love" category. (eg: lipstick)
  3. There's several different varieties of Wantable boxes, including beauty, intimate and accessories. I like the option to try out different boxes to suit your needs that month. I bet the accessories box is amazing and who couldn't benefit from an intimates (socks, undies, bras) box?
  4. You receive 4-5 full-size, premium-brand items with each shipment, instead of samples. There may be a free sample added to your box as a bonus, though :)
  5. Wantable includes many brands--both international and American brands.

After filling out my beauty quiz, my box was ready to ship. The shipping and processing were very quick and the package arrived well-packed with no damaged products. I'm pleased with the speed and safe-delivery of my first Wantable beauty box. :)

My Personal September 2013 Wantable Beauty Box.

It included a nail color and a polish remover~which was the perfect combo. It also included an eyeshadow (my love), cake eyeliner and a (wonderful) bronzer.

  • $11    Laqa & Co Nail Color in FancyPants
  • $5.95 Laqa & Co Polish Remover Pads
  • $18    Lise Watier eyeshadow in Chocolat
  • $25    Michael Marcus cake eyeliner in Twilight
  • $30    FACE Stockholm Bronzer in the color Mauii
  • Sample Echo Vie Organic Body Oil

This Michael Marcus cake eyeliner is so pigmented and easy to use. You can also use it for a smoky eye look or even as an accent color ( I did). I love the deep blue color and its definitely appropriate for Fall. Just dampen your eyeliner brush before applying as an eyeliner and your're good-to-go.

This is FACE Stockholm Bronzer in the color Mauii and it's perf. I like the color payoff, the long-wear and the way it only has a tiny bit of shimmer to it, but it's mostly matte. The color really looks natural on my fair, pink-undertone complexion. The mirror on the compact is very beneficial.

I've never heard of this high-end brand, but the second that I took this Lise Watier Solo out of the package, I adored it. The compact is very sturdy, which we all can appreciate. The color and finish of both the compact and the product are very classy. The color--Chocolat--is a beautiful neutral brown that can be worn by anyone.

LAQA & CO Polish and Polish Remover Pads

I'm a big fan of white packaging, because it is very clean, modern and easy to read. I'm totally new to the LAQA & Co brand, so this was a first-time experience for me with their products. I like these pads because they don't smell overpowering and it removed my simple cream polish. It, however, did not work too well on the hell that is glitter polish, but not many things do, right? The pads are thin, so be careful when you remove one for use. I keep these nearby and use them for quick polish changes.

The LAQA & Co Nail Polish in FancyPants is pretty and buildable. I like the shade that I received ( I love neutral colors). This polish is 3-Free (yay!), cruelty-free (yay!), paraben-free and comes in a variety of colors. The formula is on the thinner side, so a few coats will result in a full-coverage finish.

Where to get Wantable for Yourself or Someone Special

You can sign up for either any Wantable subscription or one-time box here. You can also send a Wantable gift code to someone and they will be able to choose which box they would like (it will be a one-time purchase, not a subscription).

I really enjoyed the September Wantable Box and I'm using the products that I received in my everyday routine. I like that I received a 3-free polish--which is a big deal to me--and other products that compliment my lifestyle and color preferences.

Hope you beauties have a lovely week
and enjoy this amazing Fall weather!

As I mentioned, this product was provided to me as a sample. I wasn't paid for the review or obligated to write one. My opinions are true and are my own. The links included are my personal referral links to the Wantable site.
