Birchbox September 2012! Spoiler Video.

I'm so happy that the spoiler video is up for the September Birchbox! I love knowing what I might get :) I'm going to post the video and then tell you some of my thoughts on what's included. I'd love to hear your thoughts, too, and what you're hoping for!

 My Commentary on this Sneak Peek: Birchbox September 2012 Spoiler Video

• I'm totally excited about the look book Birchbox magazine!! I cannot wait to see what's in there and I'm really happy that they're using Birchbox employees, also. I love seeing real-world style on everyday people. I hope they keep up the magazine inclusion, because it's an excellent accompiment to the Birchbox. They call it the "first" look book, so that sounds like there will be more :) I'm already loving all of the Fall Fashion editions of my fave magazines, so this extra little magazine is really cool.
• The brush guard is useful, but I hope that they're sending a brush with it. It's kinda like when they sent the BeautyBlender cleanser w/o a BeautyBlender. They say the brush guard is versatile, so it'll likely fit over one of the brushes that we already own.
• I want that Color Club Put a Pin In It--gilded rose gold nail polish! How pretty is that?! I absolutely adore romantic nail polishes. Rose is my middle name--really, really :)
• That's an incredibly generous sample of the new hair product! Score! for everyone getting the Liqwd Volumizing Spray!
• Jouer does make some great tinted moisturizers. I already know that I'm getting Jouer matte moisture tint. I'll post my September Birchbox picture below. I'm excited to try an MMT for Fall.
• The Wei to Go Real Sleep Over Kit is super cool, too! I love that it's a two-part system. Sounds fun. A "CC Cream," they say? Interesting. I could totally use a color corrector cream. The oil-based, gel facial cleanser will work wonders for removing long-wear makeup. If you have trouble with oily skin, just use a toner after using a face cleanser that contains oil :)
• The Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator is really intriguing and it's also in my box this month! yay-hey-hey, can't wait to try that out. I don't get facials, either. I'd love to, but I always choose to do other things when I get a little extra money. I hope this is as amazing as it sounds. It's dermatologist-quality & approved, so that's good news. 

My September 2012  Birchbox!

I'm pretty excited, because I want to try the Color Club nail polish, Jouer Matte Moisture Tint and the Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. I love Mighty Leaf tea, so no complaint there. I also have been wanting to try those La Fresh Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover pads--they're chemical-free and scented with citrus :) The only tiny peeve I have is that I've already received that perfume sample, before. That's unusual for BirchBox to accidentally repeat a product. I received that in the Teen Vogue BirchBox. I also love that my box has * a nail polish and remover & *a face wash and a tinted moisturizer; it's thoughtful that they included products that compliment each other. Here's to hoping for that super romantic shade of Put a Pin In It! There's a lot of good stuff in this box and I will use every single bit of it, so that's really cool.

*ah! I just saw a big Boscia pump bottle in someone else's box! I cannot wait until I get that in a box! I'm a Boscia Junkie! Love their stuff! Lots of goodies this month!

My Thoughts After Receiving my Birchbox:

• Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. I really love the face wash. I've been using it for the last few days and it makes my skin soft, without being too abrasive. It has micro-exfoliants in it & really does a great job at being both effective and delicate. It also smells nice--it has a clean, spa-like scent.
• Color Club nail polish.  I wanted the nail polish in the pink shade, but received the green shade. I haven't tried it, yet.
• La Fresh Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover pads. The nail polish remover wipes are amazing. One wipe removed all of my polish (both hands) and smells fantastic. I've tried a lot of different brands of polish remover that say it smells nice, but this one actually does. I'd buy these, again.
• Twirl perfume. I don't really care for the perfume, but that's just my personal taste. I like sweeter, softer scents.
• Mighty Leaf tea. I've used Mighty Leaf tea several times, so I'm no stranger to these samples. 
• Jouer Matte Moisture Tint. The tinted moisturizer is good, but a little on the dry side, for me. It's fun to sample foundation/tinted moisturizer. The color is good for my skin tone, so I'll definitely use all of it. I think I'll keep it in my bag to use when I'm about & about (for touch-ups). 

Overall, this wasn't my best box, ever, but I'm using all of the products in it. I'm happy that I get to review all of them & earn store credit. I'm saving my points to pay for my next year of Birchbox! I love that you can do that. That's another perk of Birchbox versus other services.
