{Noah's Bookshelf} "Little Bunny Follows His Nose" by Katherine Howard, J.P. Miller (Illustrator)

I've bought several scented books for my baby boy and he really enjoys them! Scented books are a fun way to bring a story to life, because it transports you into the story through your senses. It's very fun for a child to feel the pages, see the photos, hear the words read aloud, and even be able to smell the scenery! Definitely consider purchasing Little Bunny Follows His Nose for your child or a loved one.

My Overview

Little Bunny Follows His Nose is the story of a bunny rabbit who goes on a nature walk while his mom is baking cookies. His mom encourages him, saying, "...follow your nose," and he takes her advice very literally. He sniffs beautiful flowers, dill pickles, fruit, pine trees and finally cookies!

This book is a delightful tale for any child to enjoy. The lesson to be learned is that you should "stop and smell the roses" and enjoy the world around you.

Little Bunny Follows His Nose is fun to read while finding the hidden scratch and sniff stickers that are placed throughout the book. The scented pages have a glossy sticker that is hidden within the item that it smells like; although, it's not hard to find them :) I love that the scented areas are hidden within the scenery, because it reinforces the theme of the story--just follow your nose!

Another scented-book recommendation, The Sweet Smell of Christmas, by Patricia M. Scarry, J.P. Miller (Illustrator)
