Watched any Good Videos, Lately?

I've been really consumed by all of my writing assignments, lately, so I've gotten really far behind on my favorite YouTubers' videos. I'm taking time out this week just to watch some "favorites/how-to" beauty videos & read some of my bloggy friends' posts. Oh, and enter giveaways! Gotta love those, right!?

I'm definitely gonna hit up some blog hops through the weekend & cannot wait to meet some more people! I'm really loving how many awesome people I've met through blogging! I've made some genuine friends & learned so much this year.

I might do YouTube videos, one day. Right now, though, I don't think I have a tough enough shell for it. People over there are kinda mean for no reason, so I'm not sure if I wanna get into that world. I love, love, love watching YT videos, though!!

Recommendation: BentleyBlonde
I've been watching BentleyBlonde's videos since she only had a few hundred subscribers--that's for real. I knew she'd be as popular as she is, now, because she's an amazing person. I love listening to her talk lol. If you've never watched any of her videos you really should! She's so smart and funny! Of course, she has a great sense of style, too. She also has a very big heart. Oh, and her real name is Wendy. So, there's one of my favorites that I'm sharing with you.

My Favorite Video of hers (besides the "crap" ones)

I think I might start a regular thing of listing YouTube people on here, because they really are incredible & we might take for granted that we all watch the same videos, but we probably don't. I'm gonna work this into my blog, somehow, soon.

Hope y'all are having a great night!

Looking for Some New Recipes? Quaker has them!

Quaker has this amazing Cooking & Recipes section on the website!! You should definitely check it out, because it's loaded with information for the small to the tall--Kids in the Kitchen, recipes for every meal and occasion, and a FREE downloadable cookbook! I'm really impressed with it, because there's a great range of recipes to choose from, such as: no-bake cookies (refrigerator cookies) and Spicy Oat Crusted Chicken with Sunshine Salsa.
.

It even has a Baking 101 page that explains:
  • Baking Equipment
  • Ingredients & Substitutions
  • Measuring & Conversions
  • High-Altitude Baking
  • Food Safety
It's a very impressive recipe site with photos, product suggestions and printable instructions/recipes. You can save the recipes to your recipe box, if you are a member. There are recipes for special dietary needs, such as lower fat or lower sodium. You can search the recipe section, also, which makes it quick & easy to find the perfect recipe for your needs.

TGIF, everyone!

I love Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine. I have been a subscriber since the magazine was first released. What I love about it is:
  • Recipe photos. I like to see what the finished product will/should look like ;-)
  • Photo Index for recipes in the front of the magazine. This is great, because you can look at the photos and go straight to the page for the recipe.
  • 30 minutes or less recipes
  • Healthy recipes
  • Great how-to articles & tips sections
  • It's a thick magazine!
