I don't download a ton of apps; I'm very selective about the ones that I choose to add to my devices. I kept hearing how wonderful Ibotta is and decided to try it out for myself--so glad I did. Within the first few minutes of using the app, I had earned $3 from receipts in my pocketbook.
If you want to earn money for stuff you're buying anyway, it's simple. All you have to do is download Ibotta for your phone or tablet.
Here's the Skinny
What is Ibotta? It's a free app that you can download (here) and earn money for making purchases at the grocery store/drugstore. Once you're on their site, you will see shortcuts to the app stores for Android and Apple devices.
Good News: You can do coupon-matching with this app! You earn a set amount when you redeem your items in the app, so you can use coupons without affecting your rebate amount. Extra savings=extra happy.
How does it work?
- Tap the app and choose which items you're interested in purchasing. I add all of them to my list, because you never know if you might pick something up. There's a ton of items, too: soda, cleaners, microwave food, pet products, natural/organic products, health care products and so on; it's everyday stuff and everyday brands.
- After you purchase the items, you just redeem them by scanning your receipt into the app. Once you reach $5, it will pay you in PayPal! I love PayPal.
I've tried other rebate apps, but this one is definitely my favorite one. It's so simple to use and there's no annoying pop-up ads (like phone games throw at you). It's streamlined, easy to understand and fun to use.
Ibotta has been mentioned in the San Francisco Chronicle, Good Morning America and TechCrunch.
I really think you'll like Ibotta :)
I've included my referral link.
