Look how much stuff is in here! It always includes a book, too :) That brown thing in the black bowl is actually a recycled sponge! It's so thin that I thought it was paper. You can cut it in half and it will swell up the second it touches water & make two sponges. A-maz-ing! |
What makes BabbaBox extra spectacular is that it has different elements. So, if your child/grandchild isn't into one part that much, there's many more parts to enjoy, as well. Each box is built around a theme, so a lesson is always learned. It's like how a classroom will spend a week/month on one topic to really "drive it home;" that's what BabbaBox does, too. This month's theme for us was Recycling.
We usually stagger our projects out over a few weeks, instead of doing them all at once, but you can do them any way you choose to, of course. BabbaBox is specially created by educators & professionals and the quality really shows in the product. Each part is separated by a bag and is labeled and includes an instruction booklet. The Connect card contains the information needed for the smartphone app.
Each box has different learning components: Story tell, Create, Explore, Connect, + Bonuses :) |
Awesome Instructions & Bonus Materials in Each Box
Each box comes with bonus materials online, including visual instructions for children/adults affected by ASD or related learning disabilities. The online instructions are useful for any child or parent, though. It's a step-by-step photographed instruction sheet--so, no guess work. I'm really happy with the instructions in the BabbaBox(es), because they make everything simple for you :)This is a screenshot of the online bonuses & a photo of the information card. |
I'll post some of our projects as we do them, so that you can see how it goes with a real four-year-old child :)
BabbaBox would be excellent for people who home-school, as well. It includes many elements to teach a specific lesson and can count as art, science, social studies, math, health education etc, because the boxes are different each month. Everything you need is inside of them, too! They really mean this--no going to the store or running around looking for glue.
We're going to work on building something cool with our little tool set that came in the BabbaBox :D Even Da-Da wants to help with this one ;) I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
You can subscribe or buy a gift subscription of 1 box, 3 months, a year etc. :) Satisfaction guaranteed! Read more about BabbaBox here.
