Review: Birchbox July 2012

I love the variety in the Birchbox this month! There's a little bit of everything and some earbuds :) I'll add some individual photos afterwhile, but this is my actual Birchbox. I love to tie a bow with the little ribbon! I've been doing that since the very first Birchbox  I received :D (seen here) It's my signature element ;)

My Thoughts

This box is a winner for me! It has products that range from makeup, to skincare, to lifestyle. 


I love the Tea Forté® minteas mints. I have been wanting to try them for a long time, but I was holding out for BirchBox to send me some. I got the Mojito flavor. This mint is limey, it's minty, it's smooth. I like them, but no one else that I've offered one to likes them--so, they're definitely an acquired taste. I like herbally stuff, so that's probably why I like them. They are a combination of mint & green tea.

Klorane Shampoo with Chamomile. The shampoo is for blondes and it helps keep your blonde bright & light. I've used "shampoos for blondes" on/off for years, so that's pretty cool to get a new one to try out. It smells great, too.

My BirchBox Earbuds are super pretty and I LOVE that they sent them to us! I am always losing mine or someone is borrowing/taking them, so it's fun to have a new pretty pair. I will probably keep these in my purse to use when I'm away from the house. My iPhone has a pink/black case, so they match it really well, too :)

Stila in the Garden eyeshadow card! Happy about that!! I only wish they would have given me one of each, but that's just wishful thinking, right ? ;) The colors are beautiful and I can't wait to test them out. It has a sample of each color from the palette. I'll upload a personal photo, later.

The Color Club nail polish is great--it's a one-coater for me. The color is fun and I like it on my toesies instead of my fingers. It's just fun to take off your socks and see pretty, tropical-colored nail polish. It reminds me of the beach.

The Juliette has a Gun perfume is not for me, but it's just an extra. I love getting the perfumes, because *honestly* I never take the time to smell perfumes when I'm shopping... Perfume departments are usually overbearing and the scent combined with annoying sales people are just a turn off for me... So, thanks for the sample, sales person not included! 

The Jouer Lip Enhancer is also pretty useful. It's a smallish tube, but I like small stuff, so I'm more likely to use that up, than a larger tube, anyway. I have tons of lip products (thank you, MyGlam), so it's cool to have a smaller, non-tinted one to keep on-hand. This is moisturizing and stays on pretty well.

Conclusion

It was another great month of BirchBox treasures for me. I love Birchbox. One day, soon, I'll do a big "Why I love BirchBox" post for you guys. It's so much more than just the products. It's the thrill of surprises, getting  full-size products (some months), the fun of getting small versions of stuff (minis are cute as heck!), sampling products that are not readily available in stores near me, new finds and trendy colors, natural/organic products that totally suit my personality/lifestyle, and the overall package--presentation, variety, online store, discount codes for members, referral bonuses, point rewards for purchases, option to cancel/resubscribe anytime, the community of really cool people that love to talk about BirchBox, the online blog/magazine, the customer service... there's a ton of reasons to love BirchBox. I think I just wrote my post, really lol.
