Review: Stila One Step Bronze

This product is awesome! It creates the most beautiful, romantic shimmer on your skin. I'm very fair-skinned (Ivory in foundation) and this is not too dark for me. It would work on any skin tone, because it just blends right into your skin to leave a beautiful finish. It's pretty mixed in your foundation, used alone or added to your beauty routine. I love this one step bronze by Stila!

I never would have bought this on my own, because I would think it's too dark/thick for me, but it's perfect :) It's a good size (1oz) & will last for a long time. If you're a Birchbox member, you can use your points to purchase this :) The bottle is basically identical to the pump bottle for Oil of Olay serums--it works perfectly and doesn't dispense too much product. A little goes a long way with this, so that will also extend the life of the bottle. I've never been this excited over a bronzer before, but I'm really impressed with this one :)

I'm adding a swatch of Stila One Step Bronze to this review. The top color is Cover Girl & Olay foundation, the second color is Stila One Step Bronze and the bottom color is what Stila One Step Bronze looks like when it's blended out. It has a pretty sheen and lots of different tones & shimmer. It dries matte and has great staying power. I wear these two items mixed together (Cover Girl & Olay foundation mixed with Stila One Step Bronze).  If you blend the Stila Bronze more, it will be lighter. I didn't want to blend it too much, or it wouldn't photograph as well. You can also lighten it (if you need to) by adding a little moisturizer to it, before you apply. I have a light complexion and this is not too dark for me. I use it below my blush & mixed in my foundation. The amount that I put on my hand is way more than you would actually use--just did that for swatch purposes ;) The blended part at the bottom of the photo was made with the tiny bit missing from the end of the Stila One Step Bronze in the middle :) One bottle of this will definitely last for a long time... the more I use it, the more I love it.
