Music: "Pale Blue Eyes" Velvet Underground

The lyrics to this song really mean a lot to me... it's so deep and real. I love every line of it, but I especially love the line, "If I could make the world as pure and strange as what I see, I'd put you in the mirror, I'd put in front of me..." That part, to me, says, something like: I see myself in you and I see you in myself. Of course, it could also mean that he just wants to be able to look into her eyes whenever he wants to, but he could easily do that with a photo, so the fact that he chose a mirror--which is a reflection of yourself--makes me believe that he feels that she is a reflection of him... she is his soul mate.

Another professing statement comes in the 2nd verse, "I thought of you as my mountain top, I thought of you as my peak. I thought of you as everything I've had, but couldn't keep...There's so much to be said about this song... I just love it to pieces... Top 10 of my "favorite song" list.

Someone as beautiful, smart and funny as you are must have something to say about this, right? ;) So, what do you think?
